March Spa & Fitness Package Offers Value and Health Benefits
For over two centuries, people have been “taking the waters” at The Greenbrier to benefit their health. This month, in honor of National Nutrition Month which promotes healthy eating choices and physical activities, guests can enjoy a soak in the resort’s native Sulphur water and unlimited fitness classes with the March Spa and Fitness package. Fitness classes, such as Cardio Craze, Power Walk and Yogalates, are offered two or three times each day. This midweek package also includes unlimited tennis, access to The Greenbrier Spa’s steam and sauna facilities and special welcome amenity.

The Greenbrier Adds Five Veteran Sales Executives to its Highly Experienced Team
The Greenbrier resort, well-known for its unique meeting and event spaces, has expanded its already well-versed sales team by hiring five experienced sales executives. In addition to numerous seasoned professionals at the core of the sales team, each with more than 15 years of experience at the property, the award-winning resort has added Gaye Walden, John Jeffrey, Michael Parker, Kathy Werhan and Greg Furlong to its roster.

The Greenbrier Takes Top Honors at 5th Annual Cast Iron Cookoff
The culinary team led by The Greenbrier’s Executive Sous Chef Bryan Skelding and senior apprentice Caleb Taylor earned the title of overall grand champion at the 5th Annual Cast Iron Cookoff. The resort also won the best overall menu and best 21st Century interpretation of traditional Appalachian cuisine at the January 15-16 event.

Spirit of Tourism Award Winners Announced
Lewisburg, WV (December 2, 2009) – The recipients of the fourth annual Spirit of Tourism Awards were announced on Tuesday, December 1 at a reception hosted by the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).
