For more than four decades, The Greenbrier’s resident historian, Dr. Robert Conte, researched The Greenbrier’s rich history, organized its archives and even wrote a book, detailing the story of America’s Resort. Retired since 2022, Conte still administers The Greenbrier History Facebook group. During this question-and-answer session in The Greenbrier’s Cold War bunker for Congress, Conte will make a rare post-retirement appearance to discuss some key aspects of The Greenbrier’s amazing story, including the bunker, as well as taking questions from the audience.
