Heart Health & Wine with Dr. Modlin
Randolph Modlin, MD, is a Greenbrier County native who returned home after a 30-year career in the Army Medical Corps. During his military career, he served in Germany and was involved with taking care of troops evacuated from Iraq and Afghanistan. In his last duty assignment, he served as Chief of Cardiology at Walter Reed National Medical Center and was the Cardiology Consultant to the Army Surgeon General and the White House. During this presentation, Dr. Modlin will discuss the benefits that red wine can have on heart health, when used in moderation, while guests sample wines carefully selected by The Greenbrier’s Cellar Master, Thomas Kirby.
